1. Where are my records?

Your employers, shifts, tips, wages, goals, and settings are stored only in the encrypted ProTip365 database on your device. There is no account or cloud sync. Reinstalling the app or losing the device may lose records that you have not exported or backed up.

2. How do I make or restore a backup?

Open Settings → Encrypted backup & restore. Choose a strong password and save the .pt365 file somewhere you control. To restore, select that file and enter the same password. ProTip365 cannot recover a forgotten backup password. Restoring records requires active trial or paid write access.

3. How do purchases work?

Open Settings → Trial & purchase options. Prices are supplied by Apple App Store or Google Play. If you previously bought ProTip365 using the current store account, select Restore Purchases. Restoration unlocks the app; it does not download your local records.

4. My subscription ended

Your records remain readable, exportable, backed up, and erasable. Creating or changing records requires an active monthly subscription or lifetime unlock. Subscription cancellation and refund requests are managed by the store where you purchased.

5. Passcode or biometric trouble

Try the device passcode or configured recovery method shown by the app. Because the database key is local and ProTip365 has no copy, support cannot bypass the app lock or recover encrypted records without an available recovery method.

6. Erase local data

Settings → Erase All Local Data permanently removes ProTip365 records from the device after confirmation. This remains available after the trial ends. Export or create an encrypted backup first if you may need the records later.
